Lock Loving

September 19 was my 2 year anniversary! When I first had my lock installation I could see my scalp in the top of my head. After two year,I can hardly see my scalp. I receive so many comments on my hair. I absolutely love my locks!

I am 4 months into my sisterlocks and I love them. I could not be happier with my hair. Love it, Love it, Love it.

Sisterlocks

On September 19, 2010, I began the transition from wearing a natural, braids, and extensions, to Sisterlocks. I was so excited to finally sit in the chair for a new beginning with my natural hair.  I really had never paid much attention to the texture of my hair, only that I considered it nappy.  My locktician, says oh, you have beautiful hair. I said let me see. So this picture is of my hair at the beginning.  It took 4 hours for her to section my hair in preparation for the sisterlocks installation. I was too excited to come back on Monday, that I did not sleep a wink. I am so happy to be on this road to freedom, and loving what the Good Lord gave me.
